Whitney Shoemaker, DO

Dr. Shoemaker came to live in Ormond Beach at the age of six months old when her father, Dr. James Shoemaker, accepted his position as a family physician at Ormond Medical Arts. Dr. Shoemaker graduated from Father Lopez High School in Daytona Beach, where she is still an active booster. She then received her undergraduate degrees from Vanderbilt University pursuing her premedical studies, while cheering and dancing for Vandy and the Nashville Ballet. Dr. Shoemaker attended medical school at the prestigious Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Shoemaker went on to receive the distinguished honor of “Fellow” (F.A.C.O.O.G) early in her career.

Dr. Shoemaker practiced in Pennsylvania for nine years and moved home to Ormond Beach in 2014 where she then opened “The Gynecology Center and MediSpa” and most recently her MediSpa in 2019. Dr. Shoemaker has two children, Gunnar and Tay and married Sean Ryan, the love of her life, in September 2018.
